TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
