TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
